I recently had experienced a failed installation of the Blue Medora VMware plugin for OEM 12c.  Nothing wrong with the software –I’d  installed the plugin against some non-VMware agents and now I couldn;t back it out to start over!

Ordinarilly plugins are removed with an emcli undeployemnt command, but when in this case it took at little extra effort.

This command checks every agent for traces of the plugin with the all_discovery_only_agents flag:

emcli undeploy_plugin_from_agent -plugin=bm.vmware.vsph -all_discovery_only_agents

Once that starts executing, you can follow the progress with:

emcli get_plugin_deployment_status -plugin_id=bm.vmware.vsph

Std out looks like this:

emcli get_plugin_deployment_status -plugin_id=bm.vmware.vsph

Use " emcli get_plugin_deployment_status -plugin_id=bm.vmware.vsph " to track plug-in un-deployment status.
